“How-to” Guides

How to set up your own mobile application

Every SuiteDash account includes its own white label mobile app!

In order to have your own mobile app, you’ll first need to ensure your Custom Domain has been set up and properly configured.

You can verify that by going to Flyout Menu > Custom URL & Login.

If you see all kinds of fun options on this page, then you can move on to the next step!

If you see a list of steps along with an embedded video, watch that video and follow the instructions to get this part set up.

Once your Custom URL is established, scroll down to the “Customize App Icon & Favicon” section.

You’ll need to upload an image for your App Icon. This is what will represent your mobile application alongside the rest of the mobile apps installed, so make it distinct.

This image will need to be in PNG format. You can choose whether or not to have a transparent background – this will show as either black or white if installed on a device that uses specific shapes for its app icons.

You can check for transparency in an image editor that can view layers, such as Photoshop, Affinity Photo Gimp, etc.

Now the fun part. Once you have your Custom URL configured and your App Icon uploaded, you can navigate to the URL on your mobile device and install it.

The process differs a little bit depending on whether you are using an Android or Apple device. Remember, your Custom URL can be found in Flyout Menu > Custom URL & Login.

Anyone can go to your Custom URL and install your app onto their device, even if they aren’t a registered user!
